- I know this is probably a FAQ-o rama, but I'm having trouble installing
- 4 megs of ram in an older SE 1/20. It is the CPU with the jumper that
- needs (I beleve) to be cut in order for the CPU to recognize all four
- megs. But when I sever this connection, the machine boots with vertical
- stripes (thugh it makes it throught boot and now recognizes the entire 4
- megs)
-
- have i done something wrong? Or is there a problem with the ram?
