- It was my belief that the IIx ROMs were NOT necessary to use the 4mb SIMMs
- on a Mac II, however, you must install them in bank B. This would place
- the unmodified Mac IIs memory barrier at 20 mb (4 mb in bank A using
- 1 mb SIMMs + 16 mb in bank B using 4 mb SIMMs).
