- I have a Quantum 105LPS installed in my IIsi. Great. It works great.
- *But*, over the past few days it has, at a number of points decided
- to power down, i.e. spin down. The power/access light just flickers
- and nothing can be done to get it to restart (it is my system disk)
- unless I resign myself to losing everything, at which point I have
- to reset the bloody thing before it spins up and powers *up*.
-
- This is a brand-spankin' new hd that has been in use less than 3 months.
- Any suggestions, or consolations appreciated!
-
- Although, I must admit, it certainly gives me more reasons to procrastinate!
- ;-)
