- OK. You've piqued my curiosity. How would you do this? Or perhaps
- I should ask how does StuffIt SpaceSaver do this since I'm apparently wrong
- about it not working this way.
- And how do I configure SpaceSaver to do this? My
- upgarde finally arrived today. (Hooray for the post office. Boos to UPS.)
- I haven't installed it yet, but reading through the manual I don't see any
- means of doing this with the customizability I want. Perhaps it's the default?
- i.e. if I just select a file and use Magic Menu to compress it, will it then be
- automatically decompressed and recompressed as necessary without any further
- effort on my part? In fact that's exactly what you said later in the message
- so I guess a reply isn't necessary. I'll verify this myself when I install
- SpaceSaver. Nonetheless I did read the manual at lunch and this wasn't obvious
- from that. There's a lot of verbiage about using "small" and "big" labels
- (neither of which I intend to use if I can avoid it though I'm glad the
- option is there.) but very little on using the much more sensible Magic
- Menu approach.
