  13. Wanted: Info on Upgrading Zenith Supersport 286 Laptop

  16. Hello Netland. Anyone out there have good suggestions for
  17. upgrading the above machine? It has 1Mb memory, and a 20 Mb HD,
  18. co-processor, and I have an external 5.25" floppy and modem. The battery
  19. pack is heavy and cumbersome, but works. Please include specific
  20. parts, and supplier if you know. (I guess I'm stuck with
  21. CGA?) Is there an expansion chassis for this? What does it do?

  23. In exchange, I can pass along this little gem of a trick...
  24. my NiCad Battery was basically dead, so I followed the advice
  25. from a column I read in a magazine ... with nothing to lose
  26. I dropped it two feet onto a concrete floor. (There was a pad
  27. of carpet.) The theory apparently is that this shakes up the
  28. crystals??? Well it worked for me, and the NiCad pack now
  29. holds a charge for at least 2 hours, something it wasn't too
  30. good at when new!
