- Hello Netland. Anyone out there have good suggestions for
- upgrading the above machine? It has 1Mb memory, and a 20 Mb HD,
- co-processor, and I have an external 5.25" floppy and modem. The battery
- pack is heavy and cumbersome, but works. Please include specific
- parts, and supplier if you know. (I guess I'm stuck with
- CGA?) Is there an expansion chassis for this? What does it do?

- In exchange, I can pass along this little gem of a trick...
- my NiCad Battery was basically dead, so I followed the advice
- from a column I read in a magazine ... with nothing to lose
- I dropped it two feet onto a concrete floor. (There was a pad
- of carpet.) The theory apparently is that this shakes up the
- crystals??? Well it worked for me, and the NiCad pack now
- holds a charge for at least 2 hours, something it wasn't too
- good at when new!

- Thanks, and please reply by e-mail to okelly+@osu.edu
