- PC Pursuit is a service offered by GTE Sprint (SprintNet) that allows
- you to buy blocks of non-prime usage for very low fees. The outdial
- points are anywhere there is a TymeNet node; cities that can be dialed
- into are somewhat restricted (to about 15 or so, as I recall it).
- Prices are by the month; $30 for 30 hours or $50 for 60 hours.
- Distance doesn't matter, so long as where you are calling is local to
- one of the 'Outdial Cities' (the 15 or so places you can connect
- into). Service is currently restricted to 2400 baud. Usage during
- prime time or over your allotted block of time will cost you extra on
- a by the minute basis.
-
- I don't have the number to call to sign up handy, but if you can't
- find it send me mail and I'll see if I can dig it up at home.
