- The user's edition of NeXTSTEP 486 is $1000, which is 10 times
- the cost of DOS/Windows. Although I like NeXT (and am using a
- NeXT right now), I just don't see that the interface is worth
- 10 times the cost for software alone (not to mention the better
- hardware you need to run it). And that's just for the user's
- edition; the Developer's edition costs something on the order
- of $2500.
