  11. I have a GVC 9600 v32/42 "Supermodem".  I recently upgraded my motherboard to
  12. a 486-25.  Ever since then, after using the modem for about 1 hour or so, it
  13. will start to buzz at me.  I have heard that it is resonance of some sort, but
  14. it is as far from the computer as possible now, and it still does it.  I can
  15. sometimes get it to stop (temporarily) by wiggling the power cord.  I also
  16. tried shutting off the speaker (ala ATM0), but to no avail.

  18. If any of you hardware gurus out there can help me, it would be most 
  19. appreciated.  Also, if any of you have the Tech. Support number to GVC, that
  20. would also be welcome.  THANKS!!!
