- I recently obtained an Everex EV 659A EGA card with no documentation,
- and I am having difficulty getting it to work with my monitor. My monitor is
- a Sears LXI series TV which supports composite and RGB input. Obviously, I
- think one of the big problems here is that my monitor is a low-res monitor,
- having only the resolution of a TV. What I need to know is if, using DIP
- switches and/or jumpers, I can kick the EGA card into low-res mode, or, if
- worse comes to worse, CGA mode. Incidentally, I have gotten CGA to run on
- this monitor through the regular RGB input with no problems. Oh, the ROM
- version is V1.51.A1 if it makes a difference. Also, there are 2 RCA type
- jacks on the card...anybody have any idea what these are used for? Thanks
- in advance.
