- :I have used (with good results) Maxi-Format and FDFormat with 360k,
- :720k, and 1.44M disks/drives (I do not own a 1.2M drive) The best for
- :360k disks is a hybrid of maxi with fdformat. Use Maxi to format the

- :my machine) and then just use fdformat for all other disk varieties.
- :On some machines I've had to use the XT version of FDread (TSR) to

- :FDformat is the best all-round floppy maximizer in my book.. The tsr
- :also works correctly in a VDM of OS/2

-
- That's strange, most people say they don't even need the TSR in OS/2 2.0.
- I've tried lots of formats, and so have others, and OS/2 seems smarter
- about disk formats. OS/2 will read and write FDFormatted disks in both
- OS/2 and DOS mode.
