  13. I'm trying to get some info regarding a small UPS for a PC system.
  14. I've seen an American Power Conversion Inc, "BACK UPS 600".  I've
  15. also read about other products from "APC" and TRIPPLITE.  What I need
  16. is some first hand advice on:

  18. PC size UPS systems.
  19. Software packages that use the output signals from the UPS to do
  20.   auto shutdowns of the PC before the battery goes. (or other
  21.   programmed responses)
  22. UPS systems to avoid (based on your war stories =-)
  23. Things to consider when "sizing" the UPS to buy.
  24.  
  25. Additionally, if anyone has a phone number or address for "TRIPPLITE"
  26.   I'd appreciate it as well.
