- Diamond now uses a propriety clock synthesizer on their video boards.
- To get programming information, you need to sign an NDA with Diamond.
- If you limit your use to DOS, Windows, etc. you won't have any problems.
- However, it's unlikely that a free Xserver for Diamond products
- will be available. So, if X is important to you (especially since
- there are now two free unices that can run X, available in
- binary form) you might want to consider a different ET4000 or
- S3 based board.
