- Hi,
- I'm thinking of buying a flatbed colour scanner (simply because it's
- not much dearer than a grey-scale mode).
-
- What is the general consensus?
-
- I need one which
- (i) will either work with Z-Soft's PhotoFinish or come with good Windows
- software.
- (ii) will do OCR
- (iii) has adjustable resolution up to 300dpi (and down to 75dpi)
- (iv) will also do 256 grey and black and white (line art and dithered)
-
-
- Can people please give me an idea of prices (I want to see what the U.S. prices
- are) and performance (i.e. is it simple point and shoot or does it require
- substantial fiddling to get enything worthwhile).
-
- Please email and I will post a summary.
