- I installed a new Adaptec 1542B SCSI controller and drive in my system
- yesterday, only to discover that the Adaptec's default I/O port (330)
- conflicts with my Roland LAPC-1. I need to keep the Roland at 330, but
- I also need to boot the SCSI drive, and the Adaptec docs say there is no
- way to make the BIOS recognize another I/O port if I change the jumpers on
- the SCSI controller. Does anyone know of a fix for this, or of a new PROM
- I can order from Adaptec? I'm trying to get through to their tech support
- but it's been busy all afternoon.
