  11. I installed a new Adaptec 1542B SCSI controller and drive in my system
  12. yesterday, only to discover that the Adaptec's default I/O port (330)
  13. conflicts with my Roland LAPC-1.  I need to keep the Roland at 330, but
  14. I also need to boot the SCSI drive, and the Adaptec docs say there is no
  15. way to make the BIOS recognize another I/O port if I change the jumpers on
  16. the SCSI controller.  Does anyone know of a fix for this, or of a new PROM
  17. I can order from Adaptec?  I'm trying to get through to their tech support
  18. but it's been busy all afternoon.
