  13. I have had similar problems with xtex (n my 345) -- one solution was to get the
  14. screen fonts from someone else  n order to circumvent the TeXtoXfont
  15. script altogether. 
  16. I finally gave up on Xtex and switched to xdvi, which uses the 300dpi
  17. fonts (thus saving about 10 MB of disk space).
