  13. I have the following problem when running /bin/sh on a HP710/HPUX8.07
  14. with an xterm.

  16. Even in `icanon iexten' mode, the control caracters are echoed as
  17. themselves, not with a caret escape.
  18.  
  19. For instance, hitting the up-arrow key moves the cursor upwards, instead
  20. of echoing `^[[A'.
  21.  
  22. I RTFMed the termio man page and couldn't find a clue.

  24. Here is the corresponding stty -a output:
