  13. I am having trouble getting my HP Deskwriter to be recognized on my small 3 Mac
  14. appletalk LAN.  This is likely due to the fact that I am using some homebuilt
  15. phonenet connectors that doesn't have one of the non-used pins at the right
  16. voltage for the Deskwriter to recognize it is on a network and not connected
  17. serially.

  19. Can anyone tell me how the Deskwriter detects an appletalk network (maybe I can
  20. set a jumper or a DIP switch to force it to the right mode)?
