  10. Iterations.............I believe SO! Open your user's manual to page 276.
  11. The sections entitled "How the HP Solve Application Works" plainly states
  12. that the HP48 can find solutions to equations "ITERATIVELY". I believe it
  13. uses an enhanced version of the Newton's method to find roots. It can
  14. also solve many equations symbolically using the 'ISOL' and 'QUAD'
  15. commands in the ALGEBRA manual. I don't wanna say RTFM, but it's
  16. tempting...
