- I'm sure someone from comp.sys.palmtops will come over here and say
- more, but a machine very similar to the one you describe has already
- been developed and is on the market. It's called the Agenda
- Microwriter, for more information, contact:
-
- Microwriter Systems plc
- M.S.A. House
- 2 Albany Court
- Albany Park
- Frimley
- Surrey GU15 2XA, United Kingdom

-
- You could also send email to jeremiah@cix.compulink.co.uk. In the US
- it used to be marketed by Franklin Quest (the day planner folks) as the
- Academy. It was billed as an electronic replacement for your day
- planner. But their sales weren't high enough to warrant keeping the
- product (personally, I think Franklin Quest pursued a far too narrow
- market).
-
- The Agenda Microwriter's keyboard is flat. For a keyboard with the
- layout you describe, look into the Twiddler keyboard reviewed in Byte
- magazine, March 1992. It will work with Macs or IBM's. Many
- alternative keyboard reviews are archived on soda.berkeley.edu in the
- typing-injuries directory.

- I envision something akin to a stenographer's typewriter,
