  25. My solution (after spending about two hours on the phone with NCR support
  26. and finding no one who could speak authoritatively on smtpd) was to nuke
  27. the whole mess and use the "unsupported", yet provided on the OS tape, 
  28. /usr/ucblib/sendmail.  I did that 3 months ago, and it seems to work like
  29. a charm.
