- I apoligize if this is the second time you received this. I put in the
- wrong distribution the first
- time.
-
- I am having problems with smtpd on a AT&T Starserve E running SysVR4.
- It seems to work Ok for
- a while and then it stops receiving. The following message shows up in the
- /usr/spool/smtpq/LOG file.
-
- smtpd t_accept failed: Routine will place interface out of state
- smtpd t_accept failed: Illegal called/calling sequence number
- .
- . (nine times)
- .
- smtpd t_accept failed: Illegal called/calling sequence number
-
- (then it fills up the LOG file by repeating the following statement.)
-
- smtpd can't handle any more calls
-
- If I kill the smtpd and then restart smtpd, it works again for a while.
- The smtpd had been working fine for a couple of months. It went bad last week.
- E-mail any comments or suggestions to dcogg@ops.agsci.colostate.edu
