  28. The corect information is:
  29. The 68K bus <-> DSP communication goes through a Byte wide (8bit) DMA (on the 
  30. 68K bus that is) channel and at 1Mbyte/s speed. The external DSP conector is
  31. a serialinterface capable of 1Mbyte/s speed. If there's no hidden restrictions
  32. on this serialinterface (e.g. fixed multiplexing into 8 channels) one could use
  33. this to do upto 500Khz 16Bit one channel sampling or a 8Mbps modem (gee, wish
  34. the phonesystem could handle this:-)
