  22. I am currently working on a new version of PT3.CODE0 which will add some new
  23. features and correct some problems. Some things I expect to change:
  24.  
  25. (1) Change the //gs (gs/os) port driver to work around the hardware CTS problem
  26. identified by Brendan Hoar. This should alleviate any need to make any hardware
  27. modifications to your computer.
  28.  
  29. (2) Fix a problem with unattended answering with the suprafaxmodem v32bis.
  30.  
  31. (3) Add a Generic Fixed Speed modem driver. This will just by the OKI (rts/cts)
  32. with a different init string.
  33.  
  34. (4) Change the mnp drivers so that the port lock starts at 9600 instead of
  35. 19200.
  36.  
  37. (5) Include the MNP6 driver in the pt3.code0 file.
  38.  
  39. (6) Develop a modem driver for the high-speed multitech modems. This driver
  40. will not be part of the code0 file, but will be available as a seperate PTM
  41. file.

  43. There will be some other misc changes as well. I expect this new file to be
  44. available in about 2 weeks. I will post complete information when it becomes
  45. available.

  54. I had said in an earlier post that the Generic MNP Driver only locked the port
  55. at rates of 19200+ and that I would see about changing this to 9600+. I am
  56. incorrect. In looking at the drivers, I find that they lock the port starting
  57. at 9600, not 19200. I will update my documentation in this regard.
