  10. Previously Jerry Penner asked what Out Of This World was like.
  11. I remember seeing the demo for the IBM compatible computers in mid
  12. Feb. when I still worked at Egghead Discount Software in Vancouver.
  13. The demo when something like this: You drive out to your lab which is
  14. some sort of particle accelerator, punch in your access code at a
  15. computer controlled lock. You get scanned and are allowed in.
  16. Meanwhile a mean thunderstorm is brewing outside. You sit down at
  17. your control station and initiate an experiment. (There is a ten
  18. second countdown) As you wait for the experiment to begin, you calmly
  19. pop open a cool one and take a gulp. Meanwhile that mean looking
  20. thunderstorm lets loose a humongous lightning bolt headed in your
  21. direction! As the countdown reaches zero the lightning bolt strikes
  22. the accelerator! *BZZZAKK-KA-BOOOMMM! SPLOOOOSHH! bloop-bloop-bloop!*
  23. There is now a big crater where you once sat in your lab. You are now
  24. underwater in a fountain that is Out Of This World! As you swim your
  25. way up and climb out of the fountain, you will be faced with
  26. unimaginable dangers. As you trek through dark caves and deserts, you
  27. have to avoid huge deadly slugs, wild alien animals, and befriend
  28. unfriendly aliens armed with laser like weapons.

  30. The IBM demo was quite impressive so I excpect the GS version to be
  31. awesome.
