  14. I've been seeing some faxmodems for pretty cheap lately.  I've been
  15. thinking about upgrading my 1200 baud modem to a 2400.  Since it
  16. looks like I can get a cheap faxmodem for about the same price as a
  17. 2400, I'd like to know what the difference is between the cheap
  18. faxmodems and the expensive ones.  I don't plan on using the fax
  19. feature all that often but it would be nice to have.

  21. Also, what faxsoftware is available for the GS and how does it work?
  22. does it come as a DA that you can use from any program?  Is it more
  23. like a printer driver?  Or is it a standalone application?

  25. I know there was a big discussion about this a while back.  I wasn't
  26. interested at the time and didn't read the messages.  I'll go back
  27. and see if any are left.
