- I've been seeing some faxmodems for pretty cheap lately. I've been
- thinking about upgrading my 1200 baud modem to a 2400. Since it
- looks like I can get a cheap faxmodem for about the same price as a
- 2400, I'd like to know what the difference is between the cheap
- faxmodems and the expensive ones. I don't plan on using the fax
- feature all that often but it would be nice to have.
-
- Also, what faxsoftware is available for the GS and how does it work?
- does it come as a DA that you can use from any program? Is it more
- like a printer driver? Or is it a standalone application?
-
- I know there was a big discussion about this a while back. I wasn't
- interested at the time and didn't read the messages. I'll go back
- and see if any are left.
-
- Thanks,
-
