  15. This is certainly true with <1.3 (and probably 2.04), the idea is that
  16. some new versions of the OS fix this...(2.1? 3.0? 3.1? 4.0?)
  17. So what people should be doing is whining for faster routines in the
  18. OS.
  19. (cause CBM isn't going to release hardware refs, cause it is in their!
  20. best intrest not to, cause this way they can have some freedom about
  21. their hardware.  (which is in our best intrest, cause it means cheaper
  22. better graphics in the future (no/less backwards compatability)
  23. (and it means competition for graphics systems from 3rd parties).)
