- Hi guys,
-
- Could anybody tell me how to switch off the CopyBack cache on my
- 68040 equipped A4000? (Using KS 39.106/WB 39.29) The CPU program
- that came on the enclosed disks has version number 38.1. When I
- enter CPU NOCOPYBACK, as specified in the manual, nothing seems
- to happen... Isn't NOCOPYBACK supported on an A4000 maybe? I can
- get the copyback to switch off only if I enter CPU NODATACACHE.
- But then I lose the Data cache also. I remember CPU 38.1 allowing
- to only switch off the copyback cache on a CSA Magnum 40/4.
-
- Please reply by e-mail as I'm losing access to this group for the
- next 3 months [My news host is going down temporarily :-(, and I
- have to poll long distance for E-mail...]
