  12. I have a question concerning the serial.device adn the IDCMP routines.  Is
  13. there any way to check the IDCMP bits (like RAWKEY, etc) to detect when the
  14. serial.device has received some data?  I have looked through the Hardware
  15. Reference manual, as well as the CManual docs but no luck.  Is this type of
  16. alert not available through the IDCMP?
