  11. In a previous posting a few above this one, I asked if somebody would
  12. put up a copy of JugglerDemo for me on the Archives.

  14. Why?  I forgot that I belong to PORTAL.  This INCREDIBLE Amiga archive,
  15. for the Amiga.  I am becoming seriuosly addicted, and talking to
  16. the Pro's at PORTAL really adds to my knowledge and interest in
  17. the Amiga.
  18. Ever since, Harv, the sysop at the AmigaZone at PORTAL took his
  19. time to interest me in his fantastic system, I have spent countless
  20. hours eagerly scanning over all the ShareWare.  My interest grows
  21. day to day.  Not only do I have a mailbox in California now, with neat
  22. features that let me adjust my login id as a pseudoname, and countless
  23. other PORTAL extras.  I also get immediate answers to my questions,
  24. online chats with other Amiga users, and best of all:  unlimited
  25. access time 24-hours a day.

  27. I have a connection right now that keeps me logged into PORTAL
  28. continuosly through my University computer system, and the
  29. splendors of the Internet save me all dial-in charges.  I am
  30. not billed for the local call.

  32. I usually sit down, scan through any of the Fish Disks ( All 750 !!! ),
  33. or the well updated, and organized File Databases, and set up Z-Modem
  34. batch downloads so when I wake up the next morning I have many many
  35. Megabytes of cool software waiting for me.

  37. Portal only charges me $13.95 + $5.00 Internet option for UNLIMITED
  38. access all month long.  I feel like I am not paying enough ( don't
  39. tell the accountants at PORTAL that! ).

  41. I used to belong to Plink, which has moved to PORTAL.  All the
  42. files, no matter how old they are will be permanently stored at PORTAL.
  43. It was at Plink that I first downloaded Jugglerdemo, and was
  44. awestruck by the Amiga's capabilities.  Therefore, naturally,
  45. I could have easily got it direct from the Fred Fish Archives on
  46. PORTAL.  I still have a hard time remebering the PORTAL is all I need
  47. to satisfy any Amiga interest.

  49. Over the last two months, PORTAL has given me nothing but pleasure and
  50. interest.  I felt like I owed this to the great guys who brought
  51. us the system, escpecially Harv Laser, the AmigaZone sysop who
  52. has dedicated alot of his time with stupid questions that I
  53. always bug him with.  I just want to let him know how much I, and
  54. speaking for other PORTAL users, appreciate his fine work.
