- I guess it's people like you that voted for bush... people who are locked on the hear
- and now, and don't care about the _future_. But, what are you going to do in 1, 2,
- or 4 years when there is _NO_ software, pirated or otherwise, because the companies

- I -=>KNOW<=- I'm getting ready to be flamed big-time, but I have a point to make here..
-
- I, myself, am a pirate! yes, even after the comments I made above, I have the gall
- to say that. Now, before you go jumping down my throat, listen to what I have to
- say.
-
- I believe _very_ strongly in paying for what I use. I'd like to point out that the
- active word her is _use_. Accross my desk in the past while, I've seen, among
- others.... TurboSilver, Populous I and II, Battlechess II, Agony, Lemmings,
- ProPage, Aztec C.....
-
- Of these: I've bought Populous II, Agony, Lemmings, ProPage, and Aztec C. Of these,
- about the only once that I _might_ have bought if I had not messed with a copy first
- is Aztec C. As for TurboSilver, I decided I just didn't like it, and am glad I didnt
- have to pay money to discover I didn't like it. Battlechess II?? just plain bad,
- if you ask me. wouldn't pay $2 for it. Only reason I haven't bought Pop I is lack
- of funding... but it is on my list 'to buy'...
-
- Other near-future buys: Armour-geddon, Awesome, SOTB2, Rise of the Dragon,
- Pinball Fantasies. Why?? simple: I have pirate copies of them all. Yes, the
- companies have not made money off of me for these titles _yet_, but I wouldn't have
- even considered buying *any* of these titles if I hadn't played them first...
-
- And the list goes on and on. If I use something, I pay for it, if I don't, I don't.
- I see no reason to waste my money (of which I have precious little) on some of the
- garbage that is out there today... call it 'insurance'...
-
- go ahead, flame me. Note I even left my name/email address on this note, and didn't
- hide behind an anonymous posting. I find nothing wrong with what I'm doing, and I
- challenge anyone else to find _anything_ wrong with this. (I know, I'm just asking
- for it with that one).
-
- that's my $.02. may the flames begin.
-
- :)
