  13. I have just gained access to FTP from my local feed.  I basically dial into
  14. the system, 'run up FTP', and then select a site to FTP from, right?
  15.  
  16. I only wish it was that easy!!

  18. I have FTP'd files to my local site, then used Kermit to download them to
  19. the A3000.  All files I have downloaded have ended up corrupt/unuseable!

  21. Basicly I -:
  22.  
  23. (1) Open the FTP link, then type BIN.
  24.  
  25. (2) Find and GET the file I want.
  26.  
  27. (3) Bye the link, and then enter Kermit locally
  28.  
  29. (4) Set Kermit with SET FILE TYPE BIN
  30.  
  31. (5) Download the file, using MSEND.
  32.  
  33. The files I end up seem to send up coorrupt!  8-(
  34.  
  35. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong, before I I loose all of my hair
  36. from 'pulling my hair out'...  8-)

  38. I have read the online help manual on the machine in question, and
  39. unfortunately, it doesn't go into operational routines - just help on each
  40. command...
