- No, you can not connect both the A570 and the GVP HD to the A500 expansion port
- at the same time. The expansion bus is an unbuffered extension of the micro-
- processor bus and will not tolerate the heavy loads of multiple devices.
-
- There is a possibility to add a hard drive to your A570. The A570 contains an
- expansion port identical to the one on the back of the CDTV. It will accommodate
- SCSI adapters, hard drives, etc. Chartscreen in the UK currently makes a SCSI
- adapter to plug into this slot in CDTV (I'm not sure about the A570 version
- status). They are also in the process of making a hard drive plug in for this
- slot. THe hard drives used are the 2.5" variety and available in a capacities
- up to 120MB. Chartscreen products are sold in the US through DKB Software (along
- with their own CDTV products), check an Amiga World magazine for a local
- distributor.
