  13. You can indeed load kickstart 1.3 even on a A3000 with kickstart 2.04 in ROM. 
  14. It is not entirely trivial, though.

  16. First: Use the MakeFiles command you can find on your install disk to create a 
  17. kickstart 1.3 kickfile from your kickstartdisk.
  18.  
  19. Second: Get hold of hte command SetCPU (that is the nontrivial bit! ;-)), and 
  20. use its kickrom-option to load the kickstartfile.

  22. This kickstart wont survive keyboard reset, but it will survive software reset.
  23. I find this quite useful when I wish to play Elite.
