  11. In response to the question posed, the answer is actually easier than
  12. you might think.  First you need a receiver to get the satellite signals.
  13. Then a demodulator (Black Belts AVT and a unit that they recommend -
  14. I can't remmeber the name of the company) will get you all set up.
  15. If you are looking to use an hf radio with the computer controlling it,
  16. that will be a bit more difficult.  You have to make sure that 
  17. your radio has the proper interface (Icom, Kenwood, Yaseau, etc) sell
  18. units for their newer radios, older units will be a problem.  But 
  19. the real problem on the amiga will be finding a program to control
  20. the radio.  There may be some out there but I'm not up on that enough
  21. to give any suggestions.  But getting weather sat pictures, SSTV, and FAX
  22.  
  23. is absolutely no problem using the AVT unit (sold by AEA) created by
  24. BlackBelt.
