-
- Perry....
-
- While I'm sure many in the Amiga community, including myself,
- appreciate ASDG's work in the Amiga marketplace, I don't
- beleve that many of us appreciate the recent war-of-words
- over three big morphing packages.
-
- My problem is with the kind of statement you made above.
-
- The bulk of what you said above is rather insulting to me, as
- a potential customer, of MorphPlus. It says absolutly nothing
- about the package itself.... and is mostly hype.
-
- Will the rating of the "Quantum Leap" television show help
- my morphs look better? Will grand awards your company has
- received make your morphing package easier to use?
-
- I think not.
-
- While I'm sure you are proud of the accomplishments of ASDG
- (as I think you should be), your current advertisements and
- recent posts WRT MorphPlus, Imagemaster, and ImageFX have been
- unusually "low-budget" using poorly constructed and I feel very
- misleading comparison charts....
-
- I believe the responses from your competitors has been quite
- fair, factual, and to-the-point. In contrast, your replies
- have avoided many of the issues, and speak of things of little
- interest to morph-package shoppers.... like 'sour grapes',
- tv show ratings, and awards for other software packages.....
-
- Fluff.
-
- Detailed and honest replies from your competitors regarding
- their products (and how they compare to MorphPlus) were, I feel,
- unfortunate but necessary given ASDG's misleading ad tactics.
-
- My assessment is that your competetion has conducted themselves
- responsibly, and in a professional manner for the most part.
- I can't blame them for being a bit steamed by recent events. I
- feel they controled themselves pretty well.
-
- My order for Imagemaster goes out today.
