- Let's say that I want to use a 256-color (8-bit) grey-scale image for a
- depth map in Imagine. Is there a way to do this without going to IFF24
- which will encode it as three separate intensity images (RGB)?
-
- Now that AGA is out, will there be an IFF form to allow 256-color palletes in
- images (without resorting to IFF24)?
-
- What are the current IFF forms with brief descriptions? (Is there an FTP
- site available for this? Commodore should really place their PD source
- code and software on commodore.com and allow anonymous FTP.) Let me start:
-
- Graphics ILBM InterLeaved BitMap (Various hunks for graphics modes)
- Music SMUS Standard MUSic (no one uses)
- Text FTXT Formatted TeXT (no one uses)
