  13. A person makes a simple comment like "but what i've seen of Excelsior, it's a
  14. near rip off of Cnet anyway" and you people go flying off the handle about
  15. totally unrelated things.

  17. I see the above statement (made by Bob Maple) as simply stating that Cnet and
  18. Excelsior appear to look and act alike in many ways, but at least 2 people
  19. used this as an opportunity to slam.

  21. No matter how good Excelsior may be, i certainly don't like the attitude that
  22. it's authors have *PUBLICLY* taken.  A mud slinging campaign that puts bush to
  23. shame, posting of priveledged source code (of which Ron Kushner should watch
  24. out, having had access to Cnet source can make him liable for copyright
  25. infringement and look and feel suits, since copyright includes derived works
  26. from existing source).

  28. Joe Vasher, on the other hand, claims that the Visual Editor (which has been
  29. in Cnet since 1.0) was stolen out of excelsior?  I don't understand that one..
