  12. Funny. Amiga has got very many different terminal programs.
  13. Though, I have found only one terminal prg, Jr-Comm, that can
  14. do two simple things - at the same time.

  16. at first:   Show 7-bit scandinavian characters and handle them right.
  17. and then:   Show 8-bit IBM-graphics.

  19. Yes, Jr-Comm does it. By the way, VLT does it too, but it doesn't
  20. have a decent phonebook internally, and is sometimes difficult to
  21. use, and can't save all Zmodem xfer preferences...

  23. Term would be THE terminal (as Jr-Comm 2.0 ain't out yet ;-), but
  24. it's useless in 7-bit scandinavian use. I can get 7-bit chars, but
  25. only with the internal emulations - which are Slllooooooowwwwww...
  26. Why can't XemIbm.library use any font? Or could someone tell me
  27. which translation table values should I set, and how, to get things
  28. working at least a bit.

  30. Many times I have downloaded a new terminal program, and tested it.
  31. EVERY time, after an hour, I have been forced to exit it, and load
  32. Jr-Comm, since I can't get 7-bit scandinavian alphabets out or in.

  34. I know I'm not the problem. Everyone that use NComm, Term, or whatever,
  35. always say "I don't need scandinavian 7-bit chars". I DO !!!!!
