  30. But it is NOT the same as "It's me."  It is more like "It's."  There is
  31. vital information missing with Baud.

  33. The point is, if such technical terms continue to be watered down, there is
  34. a potential danger.  I'm sure you would correct people if they claimed your
  35. Amiga ran at 7 KHz or 25 KHz instead of 7 or 25 MHz, right?  So what is the
  36. problem with simple education on BAUD vs. BPS?  Why do people resist such
  37. simple correction on this particular issue?  The first time it was pointed
  38. out to me I said, "Oh, that's good to know.  Okay, I'll use BPS."  What's
  39. the big deal in using the PROPER term?
