- There isn't any. :-( The Amiga seems to have been set aside in the MIDI
- marketplace with very will support in MIDI software. Sad, since the Amiuga
- has such terrific hardware. If I were to recommend any Amiga package, that
- would be Dr.T's KCS V3.2 Level II software. It really isn't an "Amiga"
- specific package, but it is probably the most powerful. There are
- basically 3 MIDI sequencing packages available at the moment:
- 1) Dr.T's KCS
- 2) Bars & Pipes Professional
- 3) Music-X
- #2 is very full featured but the interface will entertain your 3 year
- old
- more than lay down inportant musical tracks.
- #3 had potential, but bugs and poor support from the its makers
- (MicroIllusions) placed an early death on this package.
- For patch editors and librarian programs, the situation is a bit better
- although only 2 major entries are recognized: Dr.T's X-Or general
- graphical editor/librarian, and Sound Quest's MIDIQuest editor/librarian.
- Both ofnthese packages are up to the specs of their versions on other
- platforms and both are very useful IF they havea driver that fully supports
- your particular instrument.
