- Your idea is far from new. As a matter of facts it has been done before,
- even many times.
- About two years ago it was popular to make whole-disk sample-players
- that replayed very long (in memory) tunes with very long samples in
- them. Many coders wrote their own hacks of the NoisePlayer that loaded
- new samples from disk during the replay. "D-MOB musicdisk 3" was a good
- example of this technique. Still, making a tracker to work with this system
- generally would be really messy. Editing would be hell.
