- Last night I tried these programs, which all seem to work fine on a
- 4000:
-
- * Distant Suns (version 4.0; I haven't upgraded to 4.1 yet)
- * Scenery Animator (2.0)
-
- Neither is smart enough yet to take advantage of the display database.
- Distant Suns, even version 4.0, is quite snappy on the 4000. I suppose
- it must be doing a lot of WritePixel() calls to draw all those stars.
- When you scroll the starfield, *wham!*. You get a new display right
- away, instead of having to wait like on a non-AGA machine.
