- CUCL is signed up for (and paid for!) a beta test release of 4.4 BSD. It has not
- yet been shipped. The notice distributed from Berkeley asking for *testers* goes
- to great length to describe how "beta test" the software is. I would suggest it
- would be a studpendous achievement for any company to ship a product base on
- something that doesn't exist, and rash, even for Acorn, to base a product on
- beta test software.
