  23. I have also heard this. The provisional (real?) spec was as follows:

  25. 66Mhz ARM600 CPU
  26. VIDC20
  27. MEMC20 (allowing up to 128Mb ram on board)

  29. running both Unix, and some new form of RISC OS.

  31. Whether this is pure speculation or based in some form of fact, I really
  32. can't say. The person who told me was adamant concerning the accuracy of
  33. it, though.

  38. Incidentally, I was having a look through a friends RISC iX machine the
  39. other night, and I came across loads of code bearing 'Copyright 19**
  40. Sun Microsystems'. I was wondering if RISC iX is based upon Sun OS.
