  13. As part of my 'turbo A5000' project, I am developing a system speed indexing/
  14. benchmark application. It is based on v3.09 of !SI by 'J.Abbot' and is the
  15. version I believe is on Newcastle.
  16.  
  17. I would be very interested in any of the following ;
  18.  
  19. * A more recent version of !SI
  20. * Any smart benchmarking software
  21. * Any ideas for what you want the new !SI to do
  22. * Any techie-bits about reading things from the hardware (eg, what is the
  23. currently used VIDC crystal??, how to distinguish between a VIDC1 and 1a,
  24. etc)
  25. * Some way of contacting 'J.Abbot' - who is he ??!

  27. BTW - I will sometime soon release a new version of !SI, along with a very
  28. detailed description of all the things I have done to my A5000, and timings,
  29. etc. Please don't email me about how to hack A30x0/Ax00/etc in the meantime -
  30. I am being overwelmed by such requests !!
