  20. This symposium is in the spirit of the TAV meetings held in Banff, Key
  21. West, and Victoria. Its purpose is to bring together researchers and
  22. practitioners who are working in the areas of software testing and
  23. analysis. Papers of either a theoretical or empirical nature describing
  24. new testing or analysis research for sequential, concurrent, distributed,
  25. or real-time software are invited. Panel session proposals on relevant
  26. topics are also invited.

  28. PAPERS should present a clear picture of the original contributions made
  29. and should relate the authors' work to prior work. Papers must not have
  30. been previously published or submitted elsewhere. The highest quality
  31. papers may be considered for publication in a special issue or section of
  32. a research journal.  The text of submitted papers should be a maximum of
  33. 10 single-spaced or 20 double-spaced pages, using no smaller than 11 point
  34. type, and must contain an abstract. Please include an e-mail address if
  35. available.

  37. PANEL PROPOSALS should include title, proposed chair, names of panelists,
  38. and a one-page description of the topic. The panelists must have agreed to
  39. participate prior to submission of the proposal.

  41. Send all submissions to the Program Chair, Elaine Weyuker, using the U.S.
  42. mail and e-mail addresses shown below. Submissions will be accepted in
  43. either of the following formats (the first is preferred):

  45.     - Two printed copies, plus an electronic Postscript file. 
  46.       (Other electronic formats will not be accepted.)
  47.  
  48.     - Six printed copies.
  49.  
  50. Submitted papers and proposals must be received by December 7, 1992.
  51. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by February 22, 1993. 
  52. Camera-ready papers are due no later than April 1, 1993.
