- 1) I've seen a little bit of info about Solaris, RTOS for the Sun, and was
- just curious to know if the executables would be compatible if originally
- compiled on SunOS 4.1. IE. If I compiled a program on SunOS 4.1, would
- I be able to run it on Solaris?
-
- 2) Also, I would be interested to know if GNU C/C++ has a port to Solaris.
-
- 3) And finally, I am intending on running X11 Windows on my platform with
- Solaris. has anyone out there used X-Windows in real-time? What
- sort of limitations have come up?
-
- Thanks in advance.
