  12. We are currently considering setting up a SPARC (ECL) as a
  13. stratum 1 NTP time server.

  15. One of our problems is that we currently only have equipment
  16. that distribute accurate PPS signals but no timecode information.
  17.  
  18. We are wondering if it is possible to setup a SPARC running xntp
  19. with the PPS support as a stratum 1 NTP time server, without
  20. using any timecode. The on-time epoch could be obtained
  21. via the NTP protocol from other NTP time servers.
