  14. Which version of LWP are you using. The DNS support is slowly improving :)

  16. Try using finger.exe available from net-dist.mit.edu:/pub/alpha-beta-dos/potluck

  18. it was complied with some hacked libraries which fully support DNS and some of its
  19. extensions. If that version of finger is still failing on aliases then there may
  20. be some control characters in your resolv.cfg file.

  22. If finger works but the Novell supplied applications fail then you should contact
  23. Novell and ask for an upgrade. They do have some patches to version 4.01.
