- First I want to thank the many people who sent me e-mail with advice for
- 10-Base-T.
-
- I have a new question. How hard is it to crimp RJ-45s when only using 2 pair
- wire? I believe 10-BASE-T requires using positions 1-2-3-6. I was wondering
- if most people just use 4 pair wire because it would be easier to crimp. I
- know this sounds wasteful, but I was thinking it might be easier. And it's
- there's a bad wire you can work around it.
